WHAT IS CONTACTLESS TESTING?

Contactless systems are based on chips and antennas within token or cards and within readers. Contactless testing is required to make sure that these components are compliant with their specifications. Contactless testing is also helpful to ensure that the whole contactless system works as expected.

WHY PERFORM CONTACTLESS TESTING AT FIME?

FIME contactless testing is based on ISO/IEC 14443, Type A & B, according to ISO/IEC 10373-6.

All these tests are performed according to FIME quality system, which has been accredited by ISO 17025. Official test reports are delivered in English at the end of each session.

FIME EXPERIENCE WITH CONTACTLESS TESTING

FIME started contactless testing for MasterCard International in 2004, when MasterCard was developing their PayPass™ technology. Since then, FIME has backed up Visa International, JCB International, as well as transit system operators such as STIFF and all entities involved in e-passport systems.
