EMV Implementation Consultant

Taipei, Taiwan
  • Provide EMV migration consulting, testing and technical support services to acquirers.
  • Conduct EMV, Mastercard and Visa Certification workshops.
  • Provide training and technical demos of our tools and services.
  • Conduct Visa ADVT, Mastercard TIP, NIV, JCB, Amex, CUP Host and Terminal testing.
  • Build a strong network with Issuers, Acquirers and payment schemes.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
  • Responsible for project delivery.
Required Skills
  • Completed University level education in a technical discipline.
  • Good knowledge of smart card technology and payments, working experience in the banking and financial industry is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of EMVCo., ISO 8583, Mastercard TIP, Visa ADVT, CUP, Amex, JCB Terminal and Host testing.
  • Familiar with working of ATMs, PoS, CAT, Acquirer host, network, Contactless transactions etc
  • Able to understand the customers’ business needs, and how our services fit in the context of their business.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in the smartcard, financial or banking industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is essential.
  • Ready to travel throughout Asia Pacific.

EMV Technical Engineer

Taipei, Taiwan
The EMV Technical engineer will be responsible for defining test plans, qualification plans and performing qualification testing for new test library developments which are based on a third party test platform for payment schemes. This position requires direct interface with customers, sales, project manager and test tool developers to define the project scope, test requirements, test plan, qualification plan and other supporting documentation. 
  • define test requirements based on customer’s business requirements and specification 
  • define and write test plan, qualification plan and user manuals 
  • provide cost and workload estimates for a project
  • perform qualification testing
  • provide technical support and consultancy service to internal, external customers and project manager throughout a project
  • conduct on-site and off-site technical workshops to customers 
  • must be able to travel to overseas for on-site workshops
Required Skills
  • A degree in engineering or computer science 
  • At least 5-year experiences in software development, debugging, testing, test documentation (test plan and test report)
  • A high degree of initiative and the ability to work both independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills
  • Fluency in English

Mastercard Card Personalization Validation engineer

Tokyo, Japan
  • Validate EMV cards (contact and contactless) personalization.
  • Deliver CPV certifications to the issuers.
  • Provide technical support to the different parties involved in EMV cards personalization via emails or telephone.
  • Follow-up and coordination of the CPV projects with banks and certification authority team.
  • Communicate with the other CPV team in Europe, MasterCard chip center and international customers.
  • Participate in different smart card consulting projects, may need to visit customers' sites in Asia Pacific region.
  • Training will be provided for those without Smart Card experiences but with potential.
Required Skills
  • Good communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
  • Fluent English is a must.
  • High sense for initiative and autonomy. 
  • Engineering or IT Masters degree preferred.
  • Software engineer is preferred especially those with programming experience.
  • Experience with IT background preferably in banking industry.
  • Knowledge of Smart Card, Security, EMV, ISO 7816 and ISO 14443 standards is a plus.
  • A candidate with experience in smart card personalisation validation would be preferred.

Project Manager

Taipei, Taiwan
  • Work with the sales/ Pre-sales team to build commercial proposal and project plan
  • Execute and implement the project plan (maximum 2~3 projects at the same period)
  • Coordinate with project members with different nationalities in different countries
  • Strong follow-up with clients through conference call, mailing and face to face meeting
  • Organize internal workshops to train other team members (sales / pre-sales / engineers) on PM job and responsibilities

Required Skills
  • 2~4 years' experience as a PM in a technical field (EE, semiconductor etc. …)
  • Smartcard industry experience is a plus
  • PMP certificate holder would be preferred
  • Fluent English
  • Strong reporting capability (clear and accurate)
  • Strong inter-personal, communication and leadership skills
  • Problem solving attitude, proactivity
  • Efficient in using MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Project, pdf document management
