Automated functional test tool for secure ID documents
The GreenLight eID test tool is built for secure identity documents. It enables manufacturers and authorities to efficiently test driving licenses, tachograph and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) e-passport applications. It is fast, simple and reliable. This is the tool used by FIME’s laboratory for functional eID testing, layers 6 and 7.
Greenlight eID validates compliance of driving licenses with the official ISO 18013-4 and 10373-6 test plans, and e-passports with the ICAO RF Protocol and Application Test Standard for e-Passport (part 3). The tool automates functional compliance testing through automated application scripts.
GreenLight eID includes the latest test plans in 4 test scripts libraries for:
• BAC (Basic Access Control): ICAO test specification including RF protocol and application test standard for e-passport.
• EAC (Extended Access Control): ICAO test cases for machine readable travel documents with advanced security mechanisms used to protect the sensitive biometric data.
• SAC (Supplemental Access Control): ICAO conformity tests for SAC implementation based on ICAO 9303 Part1 and ICAO EAC v1.1.
• DL (Driving License): conformity tests for DL implementation based on ISO 18013-4 – ISO 10373-6 test methods.
