In order to qualify the new Carte Vitale 2, in August 2006, GIE SESAM-VITALE launched a call for tenders imposing very complex specifications on laboratories wishing to position themselves in this market. Following this process, FIME was authorised by GIE SESAM-VITALE to qualify the batches of cards from different suppliers of the Carte Vitale 2.
Based on its long experience with GIE SESAM-VITALE (since 1999) and its position in the international e-Identity market, FIME was chosen to implement the required physical tests. FIME has thus committed to compliance with specifications that include more numerous, more intense and more exhaustive test than those for the previous Cartes Vitale
