Interoperability of smart cards and devices is a key factor in IC card market evolution as it tends to be merging into multi-applicative cards and open systems.

FIME has built an integration platform for smart cards and devices, with many terminals already approved by test authorities. FIME has developed procedures to verify the interoperability between cards and terminals, backed by strong analysis tools.

The Smartspy tool is part of this integration process as it traces and analyses the transactions between cards and terminals. The aim is to be sure that the card is able to communicate with all terminals in the platform, and to record transactions for future evidence.
