Confirmed AFC systems technical project manager
Managing and coordinating large-scale AFCS modernization projects.
Responsibilites
- Defining project implementation plans and ensuring strict follow-up and reporting to involved stakeholders.
- Monitoring budget and progress.
- Defining and coordinating action plans.
- Managing projects and quality assurance of deliverables.
- Meeting with assigned clients when needed and providing strategic technical impact analysis.
- Representing Fime as a technical expert in the transport market and supporting the implementation of AFC ticketing schemes.
- Collaborating with clients and Fime subject matter experts on AFC systems implementation, including design, procurement, and certification of both new and existing technologies.
- Maintaining and developing strong relationships with clients.
- Providing transport consultancy services to clients.
- Promoting Fime products and services in addition to consulting activities.
- Supporting the Fime product, marketing and sales teams with presales activities.
Required skills
- Minimum of ten years' experience in the transit AFC systems ecosystem.
- Proven experience as technical project manager or equivalent in the AFC ticketing industry.
- Experience with the latest AFC ticketing technologies, (ABT, mobile ticketing, EMV® open-loop, MaaS), standards/specifications and market developments.
- Good understanding of the AFC ticketing market (AFC systems, payment services, key activities and stakeholders in different AFC ticketing implementations).
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
- Customer-oriented attitude and good interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills, self-motivated, committed and a team player.
- Completed a masters degree in engineering or an equivalent.
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent).
- English (mandatory), Arabic is a plus.
