Sales Head, India and South Asia

We are looking for a seasoned Head of Sales with the right mix of leadership, passion, energy and network in the financial services industry to lead and expand Fime presence in India, someone with a good blend of start-up and scale-up exposure.

Responsibilites

  • Lead the sales team, drive yearly sales strategy, sales targets - individual as well team targets.
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships, top merchant partner acquisition, new business and product launches and expansion.
  • Understand customer needs, assess current challenges faced by the company in the region, and develop action plans to overcome those challenges.
  • Continuously strengthen the product portfolio by introducing the right product that suits the market demand.
  • Generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
  • Structure deals, manage and close negotiations, build business cases for existing and potential clients.
  • Work with product, engineering, and operation teams to ensure timely delivery and support to our clients.

Knowledge & skills

  • Payment domain knowledge and API eco-system will be an added advantage
  • Skilled in strategic planning, business building, partnering and relationship building
  • Demonstrate strong leadership capability and cross-functional team management experience.
  • Operational experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills.
  • Hands on with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Job experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Partnerships / Commercial related role.
  • Minimum 5 yrs of experience in Payments domain.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Strategic Partnerships / Business Development / Consulting roles in a fintech environment with a proven track record in financial services business in India.
  • International sales experience is a plus.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing or other related areas, MBA will be a bonus.
