L2 testing tool

Eval+ Flow

Automated Level 2 kernel testing.

Speed up time to market with automated regression testing of payments kernels.

Eval+ Flow

Kernel regression testing to deliver precertification readiness.

Full automation of kernel testing during development can be achieved using Eval+ Flow by automating both the test management control via its user interface and the execution of test scripts within each payment scheme’s terminal test suite using our new Eval+ Flow Signalling Automation (EFSA) interface and MyTest Integration (MTI).

Eval+ Flow provides a QA and regression kernel testing solution using updated versions of payment scheme terminal test suites. Although not intended for terminal certification testing, it plays a critical role in identification and resolution of issues. Combined with Eval+, it provides you with confidence that right-first-time terminal compliance can be achieved for market release.

Key benefits

  • Fully automated kernel regression testing.

  • Support for signalling automation, third party CI/CD tools and PCD-Bypass eliminates the need for human interaction with the terminal, test tool and probe.

  • Reduce test set-up and execution time.

  • Run all your testing while you take care of other tasks or activities.

Key features

  • Accessible anytime, anywhere with an internet connection.

  • Synchronized and controlled interaction between the MTI and EFSA interfaces specific to the test flows

    defined in each test plan.

  • Control Eval+ Flow and Connector user interfaces via CI/CD implementation.

  • Support for PCD-Bypass to automate APDU exchanges.

  • Uses automated versions of the payment scheme terminal test suites.

  • Automated ICS set-up and import.

  • Clear test point failure indication.

  • Automated report generation.

  • Upgradable and scalable test suites.

How it works.

Eval+ Flow combines updated versions of Eval+ payment scheme terminal test suites, using our new Eval+ Flow Signalling Automation (EFSA) interface along with the MyTest Integration (MTI) module support for CI/CD testing.

Customers need to perform three key steps to use the test tool,  Eval+ Flow:

  • Implement support for PCD-Bypass in your kernel, and if you do not want to implement PCD-Bypass, you can still use Probe+ without human interaction, however, use of Probe+ does not deliver the fully automated experience.

  • Integrate Fime’s Eval+ Flow Signalling Automation (EFSA) interface in your kernel using our API.

  • Use any of the industry standard CI/CD tools to set up which test suites and which specific tests to run.

What's in the box.

Combine our two innovative testing solutions; Eval+ Flow test suites that you wish to automatically test and MyTest Integration (MTI) to deliver Right-first-time testing and certification for terminal vendors.

No Probe+ hardware is required but can still be used if PCD-Bypass is not supported.

Test Suites.

Eval+ Flow runs specially updated versions of Eval+’s test suites that use our new Eval+ Flow Signalling Automation (EFSA) Interface to handle the Kernel data and behaviour, that follow the exact same test structure as the payment scheme qualified versions.
