The protocol standardizes the communication between the point of interaction (POI) device and the acquirer host. Certified by PayCert, the implementation will significantly reduce system management costs for Euro-Information. By utilizing international standards, they deliver seamless cross-border acceptance for the Group.
FIME has launched its new Smartspy+ solution to support the adoption of contact and contactless transaction technologies for payments, transport and access control. Enhanced portability and performance allow product developers and system integrators to check, debug and validate their products wherever they are. This accelerates time to market for smart cards, NFC tags, ePassports, mobile devices and readers by identifying interoperability issues quickly and easily.
FIME has been accredited to test biometric components in line with FIDO Alliance’s Biometric Component Certification Program. The accreditation enables device manufacturers and solution providers to ensure the quality and performance of biometric authentication solutions including fingerprint, facial, voice, and iris recognition.
FIME has performed the first automated Mastercard Test Equipment Interface (TEI) Level 2 payment terminal compliance test. Point of sale (POS) terminal provider PAX Technology fast-tracked commercial launch using FIME’s test tool and laboratory services. The automated process helped PAX Technology to reduce costs, development and compliance times by up to 50% for this and future projects.
FIME has joined the Berlin Group’s NextGenPSD2 Advisory Board, a pan-European technical standardization body. Additionally, FIME is participating in NISP, which supports the implementation of the NextGenPSD2 XS2A interface, as defined by Berlin Group and in compliance with PSD2. FIME’s expertise will guide the stakeholders of the group’s open banking API standard in defining and testing efficient implementation solutions.
FIME has been authorized by PayCert to evaluate payment solution implementations against the latest nexo standards Acquirer Protocol v6.0. FIME’s EMV®* 3-D Secure (3DS) test platform and laboratory have been qualified by EMVCo for ACS component testing, protocol 2.1. The combination of an automated test platform and the expertise of FIME 3DS experts brings agility and efficiency for payment solution providers (PSPs), EMV 3DS vendors and banks while ensuring the compliance of new authentication implementations. With the platform, they can accelerate the testing and certification of their 3DS ACS solutions according to the EMV® 3-D Secure Specification.
To support India’s EMV® migration, FIME is launching the country’s first Level 1 contactless testing laboratory and certification services. Payment terminal manufacturers will benefit from local support for their EMV projects, optimizing time to market and costs.
