FIME has completed its first EMV®* 3-D Secure (3DS) Access Control Server (ACS) certification. Concerto Software and Systems is an Indian payment service provider. Its solution has now received approval from EMVCo in line with the EMV 3DS v2.1.0 specification, the first step on the path to providing a certified 3DS solution.
FIME and Barnes International Limited's Personalization Validation Tool (PVT) has been qualified against the latest Mastercard PVT Release 2020 Requirements v13.1 for the Mastercard Card Personalization Validation (CPV) process. Devices can now be pre-validated prior to submission to Mastercard. The tool enables the same detailed and rigorous tests that are used by Mastercard’s certification labs globally to perform certification of cards, smartphones and other devices. This speeds up certification and reduces the delays and high costs associated with qualification failure.
FIME has helped Euro-Information, Crédit Mutuel Group’s fintech, to achieve certification in line with the latest nexo standards Acquirer Protocol v6.0. The protocol standardizes the communication between the point of interaction (POI) device and the acquirer host. Certified by PayCert, the implementation will significantly reduce system management costs for Euro-Information. By utilizing international standards, they deliver seamless cross-border acceptance for the Group.

FIME has been accredited to test biometric components in line with FIDO Alliance’s Biometric Component Certification Program. FIME has performed the first automated Mastercard Test Equipment Interface (TEI) Level 2 payment terminal compliance test. Point of sale (POS) terminal provider PAX Technology fast-tracked commercial launch using FIME’s test tool and laboratory services. The automated process helped PAX Technology to reduce costs, development and compliance times by up to 50% for this and future projects.
FIME has joined the Berlin Group’s NextGenPSD2 Advisory Board, a pan-European technical standardization body. Additionally, FIME is participating in NISP, which supports the implementation of the NextGenPSD2 XS2A interface, as defined by Berlin Group and in compliance with PSD2.
