Advanced testing provider to offer card debugging and certification on behalf of China UnionPay.
Advanced secure chip testing provider, FIME has been accredited by China UnionPay (CUP) to perform card debugging and test compliance of contact and contactless payment chip cards to the CUP Card Specification.

"With FIME’s status as an internationally recognised and trusted testing provider, our collaborative work is benefiting UnionPay with better services for our partners overseas and providing more convenient testing services for issuing UnionPay cards overseas."
CUP is a leading payment authority that is co-owned by the Chinese banking industry; its cards are accepted in 140 countries worldwide and issued in 30. As part of its expansion CUP joined EMVCo, the EMV® technical body collectively owned by American Express, Discover, JCB, MasterCard, UnionPay and Visa, in 2013. Jason Lai, Business Development Manager at FIME Asia, adds: "In the first instance CUP has approved FIME to confirm compliance of contact and contactless payment cards to its card specification.
